EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 is bringing the American football series to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 13, 2026, alongside its release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The game is powered by EA’s new Persona Engine, a system designed to make Franchise mode feel more reactive and unpredictable. Teams, coaches and players can develop changing identities as seasons progress, allowing decisions made away from the field to influence the future of the league.
On the field, Madden NFL 27 introduces more physical battles between wide receivers and defensive backs. Players will gain more precise control when fighting for position, defending passes and attempting catches during tightly contested plays.
